50 stunning images of Russian megaliths-Proof advanced ancient technique?

As glacial ice retreated about 10,000 years ago, it left behind a strange stones, known by locals as Seida, Seyda or Seid, some of them, however, resemble objects that can be tampered with, shaping them into curious megaliths we see today. 

Many people still question the natural origin of Vottovaara stones.

If we travel to Mount Pidan, we will find more disturbing megaliths, shrouded in complete mystery. 

From today as Negro Livadiyskay, this mountain features several very interesting megaliths.

If we go to the Perm region, we will come to a place called Stone City. 

According to experts, the megaliths were formed in the distant past thanks to the Permian Sea which flooded the area. 

Erosion and various conditions eventually led to some of these amazing shapes.

Whatever there are many who remain convinced that there is more to the area than just natural erosion.
